Quality has its price!
A very small but very fine bistro. Not necessarily the best from the outside. But the food is great. Portions Good, prices are not necessarily low, but worth every penny. The condition is very friendly and quick. Often visited by Japanese business people (a sign of authentic cuisine for me). I was not there for the last time.
The ambience could be much nicer. But we were pleasantly surprised by the food, it was really good and the service extremely friendly.
The Japanese bistro Okame is a fantastic place for lovers of Japanese cuisine. Not only sushi but also a variety of other dishes are offered. The quality is incredible, the fish is just excellent. We tried the bistro menu and it was a pleasure, from course to course there is always an excellently coordinated taste experience. Not to mention the Japanese friendliness. We will be back and can only highly recommend the visit.
We wanted to try the Japanese cuisine and therefore went to the Okame bistro. The prices are quite high but well worth it.
Traditional Japanese food. None of these fancy sushi shops here do traditional sushi. Price performance is okay. You get super fresh fish for that. The fried oysters are awesome. My girlfriend loves the dumplings here. Very nice service and family run. You also really have to go excellent at Frankfurt. The shop is very small so you should reserve in the evening otherwise you won't get any space. Would love to come back.
Delicious food served by friendly staff for years
Nice little Japanese bistro with authentic cuisine. Prices are absolutely fine, but honestly not cheap either. The katsudon with salad and miso soup is excellent, like in Japan. Also great is the Omakseplate, if Corona is over, a recommendation. Here it is always a surprise what the chef serves up (Omakase means "let me decide"). Add a Japanese beer and / or sake and the Japanese experience is complete.
Most authentic Japanese food in Frankfurt. Outstanding quality and taste. Loved the Sashimi and Nigiri. Staff are very welcoming and friendly. Lunch set is very good value for money.
Best place in Frankfurt! Service and food are delicious!
Very delicious food! The restaurant is a real insider tip! The staff was very nice, you were greeted by the whole kitchen when you entered the restaurant. The food came pretty quickly and was delicious, the prices relatively high but well worth it. Tip: it was very full, so better reserve! If my review helped you, I would be happy if you click the "Like" button! Thank you very much
Very good japanese food. A real insider tip!
Authentic Japanese cuisine, never disappointed and a warm welcome. I highly recommend.
It looks like a delicious Japanese izakaya. It is better to make a reservation because there are few seats.
We go here very often and have never had anything to do with the food. Despite the "bistro" character, the dishes are of a very high quality and are presented with great attention to detail. Highly praised are the sushi-ratios top priced lunch menus. Tip: reserve before, otherwise you stand there with an empty stomach. Conclusion: Small fine shop with super nice staff and above average delicious food. Food: 5 stars. Service: 5 stars. Quality: 5 stars. Ambience: 3 stars.
Very good food, the duck breast is a must try. Small family owned restaurant, will most likely need to reserve in advance.
Excellent Japanese food. 100 % authentic, and the price is reasonable. A bit difficult to find and a small restaurant but worth a visit. Quite busy on weekends, so you should definitely book in advance.
Nice food. But a bit expensive as any other Japanese restaurants.
Super good sushi! The prices are very expensive, but it is worthwhile to eat there anyway, because the quality is so good! The restaurant is unconventional and relatively cozy. All in all, Bistro Okame is highly recommended!
Calm down with delicious Japanese food ☺?
Unpretentious place with amazing sushi! Actually one of the best sushi I had in Frankfurt. You pay more than you'd expect from the looks of the place, but it is all worth it.
The best bistro, where you can eat all kinds of dishes from the Japanese cuisine. Many dishes can also be ordered off the menu. Lunch menu is cheap. A reservation is absolutely necessary. Only the clean toilets are a bit separate from the bistro.
Very friendly service. The food was delicious. As tested the multi-course menu and each of the 7 courses tasted great. It was really plentiful, adequate for the price. Otherwise were in the mini restaurant only Asians, which in turn speaks for the restaurant. The toilets are clean but in the outbuilding: D let you surprise. We like to come back and I have already recommended it.
I think it's the most delicious Japanese food in Frankfurt. I also like the small feel of the store. You can fully enjoy the taste of Japan for both lunch and dinner. We recommend grilled ginger for lunch and fried hydrangea for dinner. As you can see in the picture, they also serve sushi.
Tasty food...
Very tasty and authentic. We had the menu in the evening, every course was really good. In fact, it could have been a little more - a bowl of rice as a side dish would have been enough for me. We sat for 7 courses for around 2.5 hours - but as one course kept coming, that was ok for us.
A good but small restaurant offering a lunch menu. The photo shows what you get for €12.50. Salmon with rice, a small salad, miso soup and a tea. Service for a group of 6 was not fast even though we all had the lunch menu but the food was tasty and we'll worth the wait.
Small but nice. We ate very well and tried it out once. Only going to the toilet takes a bit of getting used to. We'll be back for sure.
Less then basic & simple place but prices even higher then best and fanciest restaurants in Ffm... Service too slow & unfriendly. We were 4, had a tasteless miso soup as starter, sushi & sashimi, no dessert (not even green tea ice cream because kitchen closes @22:30) for €280! Sashimi was good but waited 1 hour for 5 sushi rolls that only tasted mayonnaise. Very cold air blows in every time someone comes in. Bathroom outside at the end of the street. Not a place to recommend.
Good Japanese restaurant, simple but well done, good welcome
Very delicious, although it takes time to get here
Excellent
Super
